Contact consent
Effective September 4, 2026
This is the plain-English version of the consent you give when you submit the quote form or finish Lily’s pre-check. We show it here so you can read it without a form in the way, and so you know how to change your mind.
The wording you agree to
In chat, Lily asks the same thing in her own words. Either way, we only proceed if you clearly agree; silence is never treated as consent.
What it means in practice
- A licensed agent will call you, usually at the day and time you chose. You may also get a text or email confirming the request or following up after the call.
- Calls and texts may use automated dialing or AI-assisted tools where state and federal law allow. The person you speak with about coverage is always a licensed human agent.
- Your consent applies even if your number is on a Do Not Call list, because you asked us to contact you. It applies to AskLily and the agents working with us, not to unrelated companies.
- Consent is not a condition of buying anything, and it does not create an insurance contract or guarantee coverage.
How we keep the record
Each time you agree, we store the exact wording shown to you, a fingerprint of that wording, the time in UTC, your IP address, your browser, and the page you were on. That record exists to protect you: it shows what you agreed to, and it lets us honor an opt-out reliably.
How to stop contact
- Reply STOP to any text message.
- Tell the agent on the call, or tell Lily in chat, that you don’t want further contact.
- Email hello@asklily.chat. We will add your number and email to our internal do-not-contact list within one business day.
Opting out of texts does not stop calls or email unless you say so; ask for “all channels” and we’ll do that.
