Terms of use
Effective September 4, 2026
These terms apply to asklily.insure, asklily.chat, the Lily assistant and the quote form (together, the “service”). By using the service you agree to them. If you are an insurance agent using the AskLily Agent Desk, separate agent terms apply.
What the service is, and isn’t
- AskLily is a marketing and referral service that connects consumers with licensed independent insurance agents. AskLily is not an insurance company and does not issue policies.
- Lily is an automated assistant. Her explanations are general education, not advice about your situation, and they are not an offer, quote, rate, or promise of coverage. Only a licensed agent can quote, and only an insurance carrier can approve and issue a policy.
- Nothing on the service is legal, tax or financial advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your circumstances.
Using the service
- You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information about yourself. Do not submit someone else’s details.
- Do not use the service to send spam, probe or attack our systems, scrape content, or attempt to make Lily act outside her purpose.
- Do not share Social Security numbers, bank or card details, or account passwords with Lily. She does not need them and will ask you not to.
Contact you ask for
When you submit the quote form or complete Lily’s pre-check and agree to be contacted, you are asking AskLily and participating licensed agents to reach you by phone, text or email, including with automated or AI-assisted technology where permitted. That consent is not a condition of purchase and you may withdraw it at any time. Details are in our contact consent notice.
Content and trademarks
The service, its text, design and the Lily character are owned by AskLily.Insure. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Insurance carrier names belong to their owners.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular agent, carrier or product will be available to you. To the fullest extent the law allows, AskLily is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new effective date here. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
